Frequent Questions

In General

Gifted Eats is a meal-sharing platform that gives passionate culinary creators a place to express themselves & build nourishing relationships through the power of food.

Gifted Eats is for everyone. All cultures, backgrounds, and cooking styles come together to bring friends and families quality food from the people they know and love.

For Users

To get started, you will need to be invited into the Gifted Eats Community by a Provider in your social circle. Ask them for their unique kitchen invite code.

From there, go to the User Register page and create an account using your invite code.

After creating an account, you will be able to see the kitchens you follow from your dashboard.

From there, you can claim meals from your providers whenever they post a new menu.

You will also be able to discover more kitchens near you from Providers that you may know.

The reason we do this is because we want everyone to know and trust each other on the Gifted Eats platform and have some type of social connection.

All food items have a name your own price feature. The Provider selling the item “Suggests” a value of the item. You have the option to gift more or less if you wish when you claim the item.

From there, the food Provider has the option to accept or decline your offer.

In most cases, the claims are based on a first come first serve basis however the Provider has the final say over which items get claimed.

Become a Provider

Someone from our team will reach out to you soon regarding the next steps. We are looking forward to speaking with you!

This is no upfront cost associated with becoming a Provider outside of obtaining two food safety certificates – these average about $10 each.

The platform does take 10% from your gross sale amount. This covers the Provider’s use of the platform as well as payment processing fees.

There is also a 99¢ per item Claim Fee that the User (not Provider) pays per item. This is basically a service fee like many other online food platforms charge.

No. We already have a community of Providers offering all types of options including baked goods, coffee creamers, BBQ, salads, wraps, pizzas and much more! We want you to bring your own unique dishes and style to the platform to provide to your friends and family.

There are no restrictions to what you offer on your menu.

We do ask that items be something you have prepared, keeping pre-packaged items to a minimum.

You like to cook so we created this platform to give you an easy way to give your close family & friends in your social circle the food you make.

Easy!

First, share your kitchen invite code with them.

From there, they can create an account and follow your kitchen and claim the food they want from you when you publish a new menu.

The platform makes it easy to share and take payments without any of the hassle.

Once logged in, go to the “Withdrawal payment” page and request the amount you wish in the payment.

Depending on your bank, it may take a couple business days to see the deposit.

This can differ from person to person depending on many factors. For further advice, consult a qualified tax professional.
